Strategy of Integrated and Sustainable DMO Governance Development: A Corporate Governance Approach on Wangi-Wangi Island

Destination Management Organization (DMO) is the most important element in tourism governance. As an integrated management system, tasks and functions are inherent marketing destination governance fields. The purpose of this study to formulate a strategy for developing sustainable DMO on Wangi-Wangi Island. research analysis uses participatory approach with principles corporate data was processed using descriptive qualitative analysis, Multi-Dimensional Scaling Strength-Weakness Opportunity-Threat analysis. results identified that there were 4 main stakeholders Island, namely; Government, Private, Tourism Governance Forum, Community. MDS shows sustainability index 53.96% or included moderately category. SWOT show formulation development quadrant III, namely strategic development. So requires increasing social responsibility, utilizing digital media, human resource capability community organizations, preparing plans baseline destinations, implementing training programs opportunities collaboration academics private stakeholders.
